Request Data or Account Deletion
A parent or guardian who manages a Jackpot family may request deletion of the entire family's cloud data or ask us to delete specific member information or feedback.
How to submit a deletion request
Email emedina@themedinamethod.com and tell us what you want deleted. To help us locate the correct records, include:
- Your family name or Family ID, if available.
- Whether the request covers the entire family, one member profile, submitted feedback, or another specific set of data.
- The member name or other non-sensitive details needed to identify the requested data.
- An email address where we can contact you if clarification or verification is needed.
Authorization and verification
Because Jackpot family records may include information about children and other family members, we may need to verify that the requester is an authorized parent or guardian before processing a deletion request. We may contact you for additional non-sensitive information needed to confirm your authority and identify the correct family records.
Data that may be deleted
Depending on the request and the data associated with the family, deletion may include:
- Synchronized family and member profile information.
- Responsibilities, assignments, and completion records.
- Accountability reports, disputes, decisions, and voluntarily attached report photos.
- Points, allowances, rewards, standings, contributions, and related calculations.
- Cycle history, completed-round results, and deduction history.
- Beta feedback, including an optional screenshot submitted with that feedback.
- Related stored invitation, device-access, notification, or cloud records where applicable.
Partial deletion requests
You may request deletion of specific information without deleting the entire family. For example, you may ask us to delete one member profile or a feedback submission. We will review the requested scope and explain if removing one item also requires removing related records needed to keep the remaining family data consistent.
Local and cloud data
Removing a family from one device clears the locally saved family and access settings on that device, but it does not by itself delete synchronized cloud data or data already stored on another device. Use the email process above when you want cloud data deleted.
Limited retention
Some limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or backup recovery. Any retained information will remain subject to the Jackpot Privacy Policy and will not be kept for unrelated marketing purposes.
